Dr. Gabe, recognized for his captivating R&B/Soul melodies with a pop twist, has been leaving an indelible mark on the music industry. While his stage name, Dr. Gabe, might raise eyebrows, it’s a moniker bestowed upon him by Warner Bros. during his tenure as an On-Air doctor on the TV show EXTRA, in a segment aptly named Lifechangers. In a surprising turn of events, R&B singer Keyshia Cole found her way into his list after he appeared on her show, inspiring him to explore her songwriting prowess. Dr. Gabe also holds high praise for contemporary talents like Bruno Mars and Philip Lawrence.
Dr. Gabe’s latest single, “Part of Yours,” is a testament to his songwriting skills and features the enchanting voices of indie artists Castella and Charlotte Pope. Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer/engineer Darryl Swann, along with Jeff Canady, and Dr. Gabe himself showcasing his keyboard talents, the song takes listeners on a profound journey of self-discovery. It’s a heartfelt declaration of a man realizing that his world is incomplete without the love of his life. The chorus resonates, “My world will never offer more, so, baby how can I be Part of Yours.”
